Indonesia has experienced so
many developments in the latest years such as in Technology, Culture,
Lifestyle, Education and etc. Education has the most significant development.
Today, there have been so many students who have been successful in getting
scholarships to study abroad. However, being a student exchange has so many
impacts from the advantages until the disadvantages.
Moreover, the students are sent to the destination countries which are liberal countries.

Getting a golden chance of
studying abroad can’t be gotten by all students. For getting it, the students
have to struggle. That’s why only selected students can get the scholarship of
abroad.
Being a student exchange is
an awesome thing to the person and his/her relationships will be proud too. The
students must be so happy with the scholarship they get from their own efforts
before. All the things can be precious experiences. The students will have
great and useful experiences for their life. The students can be used to be
independent when they have to live their life alone in foreign land. Everybody
will pay attention to the person positively. The students can get more
knowledge than when they studied in our own country. They will have more
knowledge which can’t be gotten in our own country as like you know that the
west countries have higher education quality. Moreover, those countries have
better technology to do practice.
In additional, the students
of Indonesia can be good young representations of Indonesia to introduce our
cultures or everything about Indonesia that can be commercial thing for
Indonesia. Indirectly, they can be good subjects in order to promote Indonesia
to global. Our country will get profit if there are foreigners who interest to
visit Indonesia because it can increase our country’s income. There will be a
new work-field for citizens to get some money from the visitors. It can also
increase Indonesia’s prestige in the world.
But in other side, being a
student exchange also has own disadvantages such as decreasing of moral values.
The students will have this bad period in there. Foreign countries lifestyle is
quiet different with our country. Mostly students are sometimes influenced by
the foreign lifestyle as like hedonism, glamorous, consumerism, everything is
instant. And sometimes Atheism influences our young generations. For the
example Moslem who can’t pray because of the limitation of mosque and they used
to leave their pray thus they become further from their religion values which
can control their life. Furthermore, their nationalism becomes less than
before. Some students who have been success there don’t interest in coming back
to their own hometown. So it can also injure our country because there’s no
more qualified young generation in our country that should be useful to make
the improvement and a good prospect for Indonesia.
Therefore, despite of being
student exchange, the students must have strong personality to be not
influenced by every bad things which are out of the moral & religion
values. And keep focus of the intention
